Financial Statements
Transparency about what we spend
We publish a value for money statement in our Financial Statements. The Financial Statement outlines a range of information including:
- Operating cost per social housing unit
- Total operating cost per unit
- Operating surplus on social lettings
- Spend per unit on maintenance, management, services, new supply and overheads
- Arrears collection (and bad debt generally)

Tenant Rights
As a BCHG tenant you have a number of important rights. These are included as part of your legally binding tenancy agreement but for the avoidance of doubt we have included the key ones here.
1. You have the right to live in a home that is decent.
2. You have the right to live in a safe home.
3. You have the right to a home that is fit for human habitation.
4. You have the Right to Occupy.
5. You have the right to receive adequate notice before we can enter your home to carry out works or for any other reason.
6. You have the right to be treated as a unique individual.
7. You have the right to make a complaint.
8. You have the right to feel safe.
9. You have the right to be informed about how your personal data will be collected, used and processed.
