Getting to Know You
In our recent newsletter we mentioned that we are updating the information we hold about you and your household in respect of your tenancy with us. As I am sure you will understand, it is important we have complete and up-to-date information for us to carry out our role as a landlord. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could fill out the short form below.
We are only requesting information that is needed from you. Some questions may seem intrusive, but its collection is intended for us to offer you services that might be of benefit.
The 2010 Equality Act requires we understand the diverse nature of our tenants and ensure, where possible we deliver the same quality service to everyone, irrespective of their background or capacity. We also complete Equality Needs Impact Assessments to ensure we have considered our tenant needs on policies and key decisions to achieve this. To ensure that this is consistently done we need to collect information about ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation etc.
It is important you check your contact details. This is so the information is sent to the right person.
The financial information is purely so we can look to provide the appropriate level of advice and support for our tenants during difficult times. We are also aware that for working families in receipt of benefits, things may get more difficult with the ongoing changes to Universal Credit.
All the information provided in this form will be treated in absolute confidence by BCHG and will not be passed to any other agency without your express consent.
Although this may seem like a big ask, the form is easy to fill in. We will also be offering a series of monthly prize draws of a £50 store voucher to those tenants returning the form.
