Built in 1958 for the purpose of providing care to the elderly, the home has provided high quality and much needed care for many older people from the local area.
Since taking over the management of New Bradley Hall in February 2015, Black Country Housing Group (BCHG) has continued to deliver excellent care and built up very positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
The excellent care provided here is despite the building and not because of it. We want to build a new, state-of-the-art home in the grounds of New Bradley Hall to deliver quality care that fully meets the needs of current and future residents of Dudley.
By developing a high-quality, contemporary home on part of the site’s grounds, residents will not have to move until the new facility is built and will continue to receive the highest levels of quality care throughout construction.
Our residents always come first and we’re committed to making the new home the best it can be – we have and will continue to consult with residents and their families.
We want to make the proposals for New Bradley Hall the best they can be – this involves listening to local views and opinions from a full range of stakeholders.
The proposed re-development will mean:
- Minimal disruption for residents and those living near the home
- Many new jobs for local people
- State-of-the-art, modern and Dementia friendly facilities
- No capital cost to the local authority or local council tax payers
- The provision of additional care services to the community
We want to hear your views on our proposals for a new residential care home in the grounds of the current New Bradley Hall home.
